To better serve our partnering agencies, we have established the
Lead Web to enable Law Enforcement agencies within Alameda and
Contra Costa Counties to submit leads of suspicious activity
and/or documented crime Incidents related to terrorism.
Examples of activity that might be considered suspicious
include:
- Suspicious surveillance by unknown
person(s) of critical infrastructure;
- Lost or stolen identifications,
personal documents, or military/law enforcement/health
uniforms;
- Persons(s) taking pictures of
structural facilities (such as a refinery);
- Suspicious arson;
- Non-accidental radiological, chemical
and biological, threats, explosions or spills;
- Unusual possession of firearms and/or
nuclear military devices;
- Explosive devices including those
found in mailboxes;
- Unusual credit card fraud or identity
theft;
- Preparation of protests relative to
military, war; or,
- Unusual gang activity on the streets
or in jails.
Activity can occur at various types of
